944 Challenge Race Car Competitive car best result 2nd in 2005 chaampionship & fastest 2wd 4cyl at the Mt Buller Sprint 2009. Very well built & developed car. Due to an engine failure at the Lake Mountain Sprint 2010 the car does not have an engine and some minor damage at the rear, panel beater has quoted $1600 to repair. Take it as is or I can be rebuild to you specs. Compete in the championship and have a blast!!!

89 model 944 with 100% 968 running gear. Genuine mileage on running gear is 16,880 km. Shortly after project completion major driver side damage occurred to write-off the car, however major running gear is unharmed.
Details include:
• Unmodified 1992 3 litre Twin cam 16 valve Variocam adjustable valve timing, normally aspirated engine with original 968 engine management system.
• 6 speed manual gearbox
• Brembo discs with large size rotors (300 mm dia)
• Tilton brake system (not recommended)
• Interior trim in excellent condition
Ideal project for someone wishing to re-make a magic 944.
